Trade Policy
There are many ways you can trade with me. Through the old fashioned email way, the tcg's forum (as long as I've made a wishlist) and through SM's Tradeboard found on the trader roster. I will most likely always accept your offer, no matter if I want the card or not. However, my cards are sorted under 5 headings, and which heading they're under depends on whether I'll trade them or not.Main Collection
This should be fairly obvious. In every tcg I join I choose a main collecting deck, which is usually my favourite film, tv show, or whatever the tcg's subject is. I will never trade any of the cards in that deck, so you'd be stupid to ask. Once I master that deck I'll choose another from my 'Future Collection'.Future Collection - No Trade. EVER.
I will never trade any of these cards either. The cards under this heading will be kept and collected until I start collecting them once I've mastered my main collecting deck. If you want one of the cards I have under this heading, you'll have to go somewhere else, as I will NEVER trade them, unless I decide that I don't want them any more and move them to my 'Might Trade' category.Might Trade - offer me something../for main collection ONLY.
This category can have two different rules. Depending on how many cards are in my 'Will Trade' category, I will either let you offer me something for one of these cards (doesn't have to be main collection) OR you will have to offer me something in my main collection in order for me to accept the trade. These cards I don't care about as much, but will still be collecting eventually; once I master a deck and start collecting something out of my 'Future Collection', I will move my favourite deck from this heading up to 'Future Collection', then the same rules will apply as for the rest of that category. You can see the heading for which rule I'm going by; it'll either say 'offer me something, I'll decide if I want it or not' or 'for Main Collection ONLY.'Will Trade - fo' defo (for definite)
These are the cards I couldn't give a crap about. If I wanted them in any way, I would put them in my 'Might Trade' category. So feel free to ask for one of these cards. I would prefer if you'd offer me something I'd want ('Future..', 'Might..,' or 'Main Collection'), but I'll most likely accept your offer no matter what. If there aren't many cards under this heading, the rule for 'Might Trade' will change from 'for Main Collection ONLY.' to 'offer me something..'.Doubles - will trade
Doubles are cards which I have more than one of. If I somehow get given a card I've already got I'll put it under this header, then the same rules apply as for 'Will Trade'. You can have these for whatever cards, but I'd prefer if they were something I'd want. This is a good way to get around the rules for 'Future Collecting', 'Might Trade' and 'Main Collection'; if one of my collecting cards is under doubles, then you can have it without me wanting something good in return. In So Magical: everytime I get 5 doubles I'll hand them into 'The Court of Miracles', so you'd better be quick if you want them.Pending Trades - until ____
Every main update day (the day that the tcg updates the games) I will go through a certain part of the member list and find a few people I'd like to trade with. I then send them an email, and put the cards I've offered them under a heading labeled 'Pending Trades'. These cards are then held for the person until they email me back saying whether they accept my offer. No one apart from the people I've offered can have these cards. The cards will stay held for 7 days only. After that they'll get put back into their appropriate headings for anyone to have. I won't be saving them for much longer. If the person emails me back after the 7 days and their card's been traded, then they should've got back to me sooner. I will offer them an alternate and apologise, however. I will answer the trades any time before or after the 7 days; trades won't become void.Card Worths
Often in tcgs there are cards that are worth more than the regular cards. These are often known as 'Specials'. If I have a special up for trade, you must either offer me another special, or however many regular cards the special's worth. ie, if the special's worth 3, you'd have to offer me 3 cards worth 1.Activities
If there are monthly activities/contests, I may sometimes enter them. Sometimes the rewards for entering/participating in certain activities are cards from a particular deck. I will most likely not trade cards from these decks, as I'd probably want to master them in the future.Member Cards
Some tcgs have a member card system. It usually works in the way that we get given our own member card which we can then trade with whoever in order to get their member cards. You can ask to trade my member card, but you can't get anyone else's from my site. You must trade with them in order to get their cards.Forgotten-Twilight.net © Aimee 2008 / Hosted by Site5.com
